Book Review: Handbook of Patristic Exegesis

August 30, 2009

I recently wrote a book review for Themelios. I can’t repost the review here, but I can point you to a link to read it on their website. Here’s the link. So what do you think? Have evangelicals largely neglected the heritage of patristic exegesis? Are there things that we can learn today from the way the fathers handled Scripture?

Matt, I appreciate your interest in the patristics and the work you’ve done in that area. In answer to both of your last two questions, I would say “yes.”
